I hear the world is supposed to end? And what does this have to do with Obama, because I heard something about the Bible tying in with Obama and the Mayan calendar. what is going on??

No, be aware of the 2012 prediction, but do not worry. the first thing you should do is to be aware of what the mayan calendar is all about, and it quite frankly is a time line of consciousness. for this calender right now is moving faster and faster to the half way point of creation. this means we are going from the age of darkness to the the age of light. this new age will be one that is dominated by love and compassion and gratitude instead of fear and anger and greed and so on. Well that answer is very simple. the mayan calender and obama have nothing in common. however, mr Obama will do one critical mistake that all Americans should punch behind their ears because mark my words this one event will lead to americas doom and possibly also the world. whatever other mistakes he does are irrelevant to this they might make the situation worse than it will become.

What is this election/was about. most of the people in USA want to see an end to the war in Iraq and Afganistan because it was started based on a lie by George Bush and as war always is it is not a nice affair. Senator McCain has a great idea in that he would leave a peacekeeping force in iraq… which would allow the majority of soldiers to leave. it is essential to do this because of one major rule of war. "when you start it you finish it". why do I say this. look at the mentality of the terrorists that USA is fighting. Walking out of their territory will let them celebrate with joy knowing that Americans are weak fools and that they have won the war. what will come next is a global mobilization of terrorist forces and more attacks on USA. who knows given time USA might become the second country to feel the destructive power of a Nuclear weapon. that is the rule. you give up and don't finish be prepared that the other person will feel invigorated and decide to now go on offence, because he as a breather to do so and believe me these people will.

What should the war have been like to prevent this and what did Bush do wrong. well war is inhuman and cruel and before you do it you must be prepared to do the most horrible things. the bible says it clearly. if you do war kill their men, women, children, dogs, cats…. everything. Leave nothing of their society or so hear my warning their childrens, children, children will come back and cost you your empire.

So basically USA good luck for just shooting yourself in the foot.

There is no one on this earth or in Heaven with the exception of God the Almighty that knows when the world as we know it will come to an end (Matthew 24:36).

The Mayans are not the Almighty God, so they do not know and therefore cannot accurately predict what day or hour the world will end.

Yes, we should expect it to happen and be prepared to meet our Savior at any given time in a moment's notice or in a twinkling of an eye.

But in that day our Lord will come as unexpectedly as a thief to those that are not expecting Him that is why we should be ready at all times.

But, we have to remember that a thief comes in the middle of the night and frightens the unprepared person. the Messiah, Yeshua has told us to be ready for Him and for those that await Him, they are not afraid but excited and happy.

So, no you shouldn't be worried, but be prepared for His arrival and the end of this world as we have come to know it.

Because although we do not know when it will happen, we can rest assured that it Will happen and the time is quickly approaching us.

No, you should not be worried.

It has nothing to do with President-elect Obama.

One of several Mayan calendars is the Long Count calendar, which is reset to day 0 every 1,872,000 days or 7057.5 years. the next reset date, by some calculations, is December 21, 2012. this is not a prediction of the end of the world.

Ever since the Y2K and 6/6/6 (June 6, 2006) end of the World scenarios did not pan out, the scare mongers, conspiracy theorists, book sellers, and television executives have been touting the 2012 end of the World scenario. when 2012 does not happen either, I am sure they will think of something else.

"But of that day or hour, no one knows, neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. be watchful! be alert! you do not know when the time will come." (Mark 13:32-33)

Jesus told us in no uncertain terms that we were not to know when the end of the world would come but that we were always to be ready.

The early Christian Church thought that Jesus was going to return at any moment. only after a couple of centuries did the Church realize that it may be 2,000 or 4,000 or 8,000 years before Jesus returns.

The Catholic Church wisely follows Jesus' advice and teaches that each of us should live as if we will meet our maker in the next ten minutes and that we need to work to make the world a better place for our 100 X great-grandchildren.

Do not worry about the end of the world. Trust God to make sure everything happens to plan. just be ready to meet God at any time.

if it does happen u just wasted the 4 last years of ur life worring when u could have been having fun. and if it doesent end u wasted 4 yearsworing about it. if it is going to happen y go crazy worrying u cant stop it if it is going to happen. so my advice don t worry about it

i wish ppl would stop asking this question. the world is not ending in 2012 it just means the world is going to change. the earth goes through several stages/phases and its ending one stage and entering into another on dec. 2012

obama loses the 2012 election. He presses the big red button and ends the world, aproximately 6 weeks after losing the election adn a couple weeks before moving out of the now-painted-black whitehouse.
