Something will happen on December 21, 2012. what it is or how exactly it is going to go down, no one can really say yet, but something WILL happen, this much Biblical scholars, scientists, political analysts and astronomers agree. Many have interpreted 2012 to mean the end of the world – the Apocalypse – the reaping. This is largely because of a very influential, but little know ancient book called the Book of Enoch. Myth or fact? here is what you need to know.

The ancient Mayan calendar predicted the end of the world in 2012 or at least that’s what it has been interpreted as. for an otherwise technologically unimpressive civilization, the Mayan calendar has baffled scientists and archeologists with it’s precise calculations and predictions, a feat which would only be surpassed with modern technology long, long after. So maybe there is reason to at least consider the possibility of something extraordinarily happening on December 21, 2012?

Depending on your faith, on your chosen path, there are many explanations for what will happen in 2012. the famous teller of fortunes, Nostradamus, also predicted the end of the world. but rather than just being sensationalist, few have taken the time to accurately describe what can actually happen. I looked far over the internet for information and the truth is out there – but it isn’t easy to put together.

Some people believe 2012 has to do with the mysterious Planet X, which astronomers have suspected to be part of the Solar system on an inverted axis. This book was once well known and it’s influences are felt in both the Bible and Quaran but the teachings from that book were censored by the early Church because of it’s sinister accounts of Fallen Angels and Deamons and how they came to earth. In the Book of Enoch, angels (aliens?) come to the earth and take humans as their mates creating a different interbreed of humans and something else. This are the giants mentioned in the Bible, that has puzzled Christians for so long.

These angels/demons/aliens are called the Nephilim and the Book of Enoch tells us that God/The Almighty was so displeased with how they had corrupted the earth and the DNA of humans that he cast their leader Azazel into the ground (Satan/Devil). Azazel taught the humans the art of war, how to make weapons, how to harness the power of greed for personal gain. but Azazel rests deep beyond ground until it’s time for the showdown. Is 2012 that showdown? Is Azazel the Anti-Christ or the Dajjal in Islam?

Other theories about 2012 are more immediate. they have to do with the mysterious cabal of Bankers, Politicians and Old Aristocratic Families who have been controlling the world in secret while plotting for their final takeover of the world – the so called New World Order. the names for this unholy cabal are many the Illuminati, the Freemasons 33′degree, the Council on Foreign Relations, the Bilderberger Group. There’s certainly no doubt that powerful people are doing what they can these years to spread fear among the people (terrorist threats, the Patriot act).

Next is a breakdown of the US Dollar and the introduction of a World Currency which will make it much easier to control the world. This currency is already here and it’s called IMF SDR’s (Special Drawing Rights). what about the Swine Flu, the Avian Flu? Many of these people believe the earth’s population needs to be decimated. Most people have heard about the “2012 Doomsday Prediction.” According to the Mayan Calendar, the end date of the world is December 21, 2012. What’s even more shocking is that the Mayans aren’t the only people to predict the End of Days. In fact, several cultures from around the World have all predicted that a major catastrophe will occur – on that exact same date! if these predictions are correct, what can you do to get ready to survive Doomsday 2012?

There are several theories as to what exactly will occur on December 21, 2012. Some people feel it will be a new beginning rather than an apocalyptic event. New Age spiritualists believe that humanity will undergo a positive spiritual transformation, and that the end of the Mayan Calendar signifies the beginning of a new era for mankind. We will all move forward into the “Fifth Age of Man” in peace and harmony.

Others don’t have such a positive outlook for the 2012 Doomsday prediction.

Scientists believe that the Earth is currently overdue for a geomagnetic reversal, as the last one occurred 780,00 years ago – though they aren’t sure how serious the effects will be.

The absolute worst case 2012 Doomsday prediction is that of a cosmic collision. a large meteor, asteroid, comet, or even planet smashes into the Earth – causing the mass extinction of humanity. the sheer force of the impact would be enough to knock the Earth off its axis, causing a complete polar shift to take place. Dust from the fallout would block out the sun, leading to severe climate change and nuclear winter. it is theorized that an event of this magnitude would have a 95-100% mortality rate.

No one knows for sure which 2012 Doomsday prediction, if any, is the most likely to occur. the Web Bot Project, which is a computer program designed to predict future events based on Internet keyword tracking, has confirmed a “catastrophic event” for 2012. Its prediction is vague, but suggests that the cause will be related to a nuclear event or a reversing of Earth’s magnetic field. Somewhat interesting is the fact that a “data gap” exists in the program from early 2012 until may 2013. This suggests that civilization will be forced back into a pre-electronic state of being during that time frame, possibly due to devastating solar activity.

A lot of different disasters have been happening to the Earth lately. Massive earthquakes, super typhoons, global warming, floods, and even other severe crisis and disasters have been shaking up people’s view about the state of our beloved planet. some say these events are signs that all point to the Year 2012 Apocalypse.

Many different points of views that all point towards this major event have been causing a wave of panic and unrest among many. People have started asking many questions regarding the 2012 prophecies and are trying to find out if this will really be the end of the world as we know it.

It is hard to determine what is true and what is a hoax. It’s hard to verify fact from fiction with the many websites spreading rumours, viral campaigns, and doomsday movies? Can this widespread panic be a cause of genuine fear, or is it just a product of man’s power to manipulate facts for their own personal gain? it is a sad fact that people are getting more and more restless in their search for answers.
