It is also being suggested that people now include a shelter near their household in the form of a sturdy and strong bunker.

Food is another basic necessity that will become even more necessary for survival in case of the 2012 end of the world event. It has even been suggested that people should aim to gather canned and preserved food, along with grains, lentils, nuts, rice and other such food items. As necessary as food will be if a catastrophic event like the end of the world takes place in the coming year, then water will be very important too for people to survive.
