Seriously, I used to think about this, now I don't care about it, what happens happens, no changing it anyway. but seriously, does any one else notice how none of the people who believe in 2012 are mayan, they're all american! they say 2012 will be a time of great change, if you ask me it may be the extinction of those who believe in everything they hear, who most likely will have commited suicide by 12/20/2012.

I am 61 now. This is perhaps the 20th end of the world that I have been through.

I will tell you exactly what to expect. The morning after the end of the world, the sun will come up the birds will start chirping people will get out of their beds an get ready for work. Moms will hug their Kids and everything will pretty much be like it was the day before the end of the world.

Only one thing will be different. All of the people who were talking about it as though it was real will be saying that they knew that it was not really going to happen.

The day after that there will be a new date for the end of the world predicted, and those same people will be talking about how it is real.

No, the Mayans believed it was the end of an age. to bad the Europeans wiped them out for the mere thought of gold. Then we would be able to ask them ourselves. I bet they would have made great teachers.

well if it is true that it is unchangeable and we must see it out as it is suppose to be. but if I remember right people where freaking out committing suicide and buying headstones early in the year 2000. So you can see my logic in that.

No, there aren't any mayans left anymore. Their world was destroyed around the same time that the explorers came Europe started claiming their land and giving them diseases.

The Mayan calendar supposedly ended on 21/12/2012. Well the one on my wall ends on 31/12/2010. Is the world coming to an end on 31/12/2010?

Mayans… an extremely intelligent race were good at predicting! but Mayans did not spell doom of mankind in entirety! Yes… the significance of 12 December, 2012 is immense! Number three is the astrological number of Bhagwan Kalki… the awaited messiah of present era! Bhagwan Kalki is expected anywhere around 2012 ~ 2014!

As per Hinduism scriptures life is directly controlled by inscrutable laws of karma! as we sow… So shall we reap nothing less or more! we just cannot expect mangoes to grow on a guava tree! everything in this world results from karma performed! The society seems to have finally reached a point of no return! The two fundamentalist religions of the world are bent upon fighting each other! It shall be a fight to finish between Christianity and Islamic Dharma! The coming world war three entails death of about 1200 million people world over! none can stop this catastrophe… not even God Almighty!

If one could change the karma of mankind… it would be spirituality abound all over… but so is not to be! The faith amongst each other at its lowest ebb… the only alternative seems a full-scale nuclear war! Nostradamus predicted the coming world war in year 1998 ~ 1999! but it did not happen… probably prayers world over delayed it! but for how long!

The society needs to be cleansed of its ills forever! if death of 1200 million people is ordained by God Almighty than it shall be! The Day of Judgment has finally arrived! The coming of a messiah is also in making! People await with fervor coming of Bhagavan Kalki… avatar of present era (God manifest in human form)!

In the aftermath of world war 3 we shall witness dawn of a new era… the golden era… golden age (termed Satyuga in Hinduism)! It will be spirituality all over.
