2012 – 7 Reasons Why the World Ends on December 21 – 2012

By Gerard Le Flamand

Scientists around the globe agree and are unanimously predicting that “life on Earth as we know it” could end on or around December 21st, 2012. Amongst them, several believe that it will be invoked by humans, but the majority is convinced that nature in a universal way will be the cause of the dramatic changes. Several religious leaders worldwide however are stating that it will be an act of God and that Judgment Day will come upon us at that time. Whichever theory you tend to follow, it is remarkable for once that all visions are on the same wavelength as to the impact on mother Earth. These are seven reasons why scientists and non-fiction predictors are convinced that the world as we know it will end on December 21st, 2012:

Reason #1 – The End of the Mayan Calendar:
The oldest and most researched source of the end was derived from the Mayan Calendar that indicates that times end on this day. The Mayans are considered a highly intelligent race who must have possessed far developed technologies which to date nobody alive can even start to comprehend. They were also a bloodthirsty race and some of their key characteristics involved building highly accurate astrological equipment out of stone and sacrificing virgins.
Not only did they live in an era immediately before the previous major global event, about 11,500 years ago, they were able to calculate the lunar moon as 329.53020days, only 34 seconds off.
The Mayan calendar has set the end of the Earth on December 21, 2012. Their prediction is to be taken serious as at that time, the accuracy of calculating the lunar moon so close, the likelihood of their calculation being accurate yet again is extremely high.

Reason #2 – Sun Storms:
The media in general does not like to cover topics that are hard to explain, except for some of the supernatural channels that are rarely visited by the self-claimed “realistic” viewers. However scientists are on the ball when it comes to observing the sun and its activities with the relatively high-tech equipment we know today. And they have made a mesmerizing discovery when it comes to its activities lately. Few years ago, the sun dramatically increased its radiation energy to levels much higher than registered in a long time. Its behavior definitively is cyclic and there is a clear 11+ year recurring cycle. Now, a couple of years after the last serious activity increase, 2012 announces the height of the 11+ years cycle announcing much higher activity than already measured in recent years.
Since the recent storms already accounted for knocking out power grids and destroying satellites, there is a very clear indication that the next round in 2012 will be of previously unseen magnitude impacting our planet and the technology in orbit of it. Calculations suggest it will reach its deadly peak sometime late in 2012.

Reason #3 – The European Atom Smasher:
European Scientists are finalizing the construction of the world’s largest particle accelerator ever conceived. To describe it in simplified terms, it consists of a 27 kilometers tunnel designed to smash atoms together in the anticipation of finding out what makes the Universe tick.
With reason, this mega-project has already caused serious concerns where several renowned scientists have expressed their deep concerns about flipping the ON-switch. Amongst their predictions of all kinds of lethal events, mini black holes are probable to be created. Chances are that the first mega-experiment with this latest invention may turn the globe into a matter no bigger than the size of a basketball.
Oh…that first experiment is scheduled for…2012.

Reason #4 – According to Religion
Several religions are giving us similar indications and predictions based on, amongst others, interpretations of the Bible, the I Ching (also known as the Chinese Book of Changes), as well as various sections within the Hindu teachings. All of them indicate the 21st of December 2012 as the end of the world. The Bible reveals this as the date of the Armageddon or the final battle between good and evil as well as Judgment Day.
It is expected that in the coming time as we approach D-Day, that more religious figures will speak up and lift the secrecy well kept by institutes such as the Vatican.

Reason #5 – Most Powerful Volcano on Earth
The largest volcano on earth is located underneath the Yellowstone National Park in the United States which is famous for its thermal springs and Old Faithful geyser. This fact has gotten geological experts very nervous and the reason for sleepless nights ever since it was linked to the upcoming events in 2012. The Yellowstone volcano has a pattern of erupting approximately every 650,000. Currently we are many years past the due date for a new major eruption, which in itself is rather bizarre since the cyclic events of the planet are usually pretty accurate and thus predictable. An new explosion will fill the atmosphere with ash, blocking the sun and plunging the Earth into a frozen winter that could last up to 15,000 years. Such a new Ice Age is due when looking at the usual cycles of Earth. And what is most alarming is that the pressure under the Yellowstone is building steadily, and geologists have set 2012 as a likely date for the big bang.

Reason #6 – The Physicists
Physicists at Berkeley University in the United States who use super computers to complete their highly complex formulas and calculations have been crunching the numbers and they’ve concluded as well that the Earth is well overdue for a major catastrophic event. Their calculations prove beyond any doubt that if and when this catastrophe happens, it will impact every living being on Earth and basically wipe away entire species as we know them today. What is really scary about their calculations is the fact that they are pretty much convinced, with a certainty of 99% that all of this will come down very soon and that the best guess date is…2012.

Reason #7 – Polar Shift
The magnetic field surrounding Earth shields us from most of the sun’s radiation. This is generally know, yet what is less known is that the magnetic poles we call north and south have a habit of swapping places approximately every 750,000 years. Right the cycle is overdue by about 30,000 years.
Furthermore, scientific research has shown that the poles are drifting apart roughly 20 to 30 kilometers every year, which is much faster than ever before, and which points to a pole-shift being very nearby. During the process of a pole shift, the magnetic field is disrupted until it disappears. Sometimes it is absent for up to 100 years. As a result, there is sufficient UV radiation in the air to crisp your skin in seconds, killing everything it touches.

2012 – The End of Our Civilization? A Gnostic Perspective

2012 – The End of Our Civilization? A Gnostic Perspective
By E. Arda

Recently the topic of the Mayan calendar and the end of a major cycle of time has once again been brought to the fore by some authors and the media.

The year 2012 is specifically mentioned, and many expect that the world, as we know it, will finish in that year.

This subject deserves close attention and study. Let us not forget that the Mayans arrived at a very high degree of civilization some 4000 years ago. Modern scholars have verified that the Mayans’ observations and astronomical calculations are entirely accurate in every respect, with much of their knowledge remaining beyond the scope of modern science.

Many other peoples conceived existence subjected to CYCLES OF TIME. The Aztecs, for example, divided time into different “suns”. Suns that give rise to different humanities: the Children of the First Sun, the Second Sun, and so on.

In old Europe the ancient Greeks divided the history of humanity into cycles of four ages: the Golden Age, the Silver Age, the Bronze Age and the Iron Age. At the end of the Iron Age (the period of greatest materialism and confusion) the Earth is renewed and a new Golden Age begins.

The same basic conception of existence is found in ancient India and its sacred books. Here even the universe itself is subjected to great cycles of time (maha-yugas), lasting for millions of years and enveloping universes, systems of worlds, planets and humanities. Here everything rests on the primary rhythm: the Breathing of Brahma, which gives rise to periods of activity and periods of rest for the whole universe (the cosmic days and nights).

Nowadays we have forgotten that life and time unfold in cycles. Today we think that time unfolds in a straight line. We have a linear conception of time (past, present and future). This is one of the consequences of our moving away from Nature. Don’t we realize that the year itself unfolds in endless cycles of spring, summer, autumn and winter as the Earth completes a revolution around the Sun?

In the Gospels themselves, Jesus clearly mentions the end of the world, not in terms of the end of the planet, but in terms of THE END OF AN AGE, therefore in terms of time. (Greek: TE SYNTELEIA TOU AIONOS). Aionos or Aion meaning “era” or “age”. And he relates it to the selection and renewal of humanity, clearly alluding to a new beginning. See for example gospel of Matthew 13: 40-43).

Now we can ask ourselves: is there a connection between the alleged end of the world in 2012 and the different zodiacal ages: the Age of Pisces, the Age of Aquarius… which follow one after the other until they complete a large cycle of time or Sidereal Year (also called Platonic Year).

Can we disregard the profound study of the zodiacal ages and their influence on the planet earth and humanity?

The sages of antiquity were well aware of them.

There is a book written in 1960 that can enlighten us about all of this, its title is The Message of Aquarius.

In it, its author explains at length everything concerning the end times and the arrival of a new humanity within a new cycle of time.

By clicking here you can read more about the book.

President Obama announced the complete withdrawal of all remaining troops from Iraq by the end of 2011.

“As a candidate for president I pledged to bring the war in Iraq to an end,” the president said Friday, speaking from the White House.”Today I can report that, as promised, the rest of our troops will come home by the end of the year. after nearly nine years, America’s war in Iraq will be over.”Pledging that troops stationed in Iraq will “definitely be home for the holidays,” the president praised the more than one million men and women who have served in Iraq since war was declared there in 2003.”The last American soldiers will cross the border out of Iraq with their heads held high…that is how American military efforts in Iraq will end,” the president said.He also noted that the end of the war in Iraq would reflect a transition in America’s military priorities. “The tide of war is receding,” he said. the drawdown of 100,000 troops from Iraq since Obama took office freed the armed forces to focus on the war in Afghanistan and the fight against al-Qaeda, he said, with results that have been seen in recent months, including the killing of Osama bin Laden.Obama’s remarks came after a morning call with Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki and followed the breakdown of U.S. efforts to come to an agreement with the Iraqi government about how residual troops in Iraq would be treated if they remained into 2012, according to the Washington Post. Around 150 troops will remain in Iraq to protect the U.S. embassy in Baghdad, the paper reported.

Save the Tree Now

News papers, magazines and books printed on paper are obsolete. I can say that because I am a reader. When was 12 years old I set out to read every book in my local library, I was making good headway, but I ran into two problems they kept buying new books and I went away to college. My college library was like reading heaven, at the time it was the largest library for several states. Then came the best part, after college it was no more library for me, it became buy books and bookshelves to keep them. The point is I love to read newspapers, magazines and books but, their time on paper has come and I am sorry to say gone.

The news papers printed on paper are on the same track as say the steam locomotive. It was great for a time, it changed the world, but when it’s time came it went kicking and screaming to the museum like all the other out modes. Today, like most I read my newspapers, a total of five, the New York Times, The Washington Post and three state newspapers without touching a piece of paper. We can save the tree now, it is so obvious that news on printed paper is obsolete. I know the tree cutters, paper mills, printing press manufacturers, pressmen, ink makers, truck drivers, delivery drivers will all have adjustments to make. That is just part of that kicking and screaming on the way to the museum that will never go away.

save the tree

The magazines have been on a downward spiral since the advent of the TV newsmagazine shows like “60 Minutes”, which started in 1968. The industry has been losing its market share for over 40 years, why do we need magazines printed on paper? What are we saving? I know the presses are a better class of machine and the ink is more costly, but, we need to send them all to the museum. The kicking and screaming will be loud but we can save the tree now. The thing is most of them have an electronic version in place.
Books have been available in electronic format for years. I read ebooks on my first Palm Pilot. The industry even attempts to prevent books from being placed in electronic format. This is like the railroads fighting the advent of the passenger airline, why does anyone listen? There are something like a million and a half volumes that are electronic today. The biggest hold back is a format war like the VHS vs Beta or IBM vs everybody but Apple battles of the past. Books will all be electronic, everyone knows it is coming, we can save the tree now.

Just one more example of an out mode that proves my point. A couple years ago I purchased this Palm unit that did everything, ebooks, newspapers, email, calendar, contacts, electronic transfers, it even understands hand writing. Now I have a telephone that is about the same size that does all that plus surf the internet, take pictures, make movies, be a GPS locater and there is no end to what it can do. So why do we need news printed on paper?

The question should be, where to buy a kindle  electronic reader? The future is electronic, just like on “Star Trek”, what I am waiting for is the transporter. I think I will continue this to include more out modes, if you have any good ones leave me a comment here or on my Internet Business Blog.

Players are curbing NBA enthusiasm now

Jerry West is on a media blitz to promote his new autobiography, “West by West.” the big revelation is that West’s father abused him through his youth, the first domino pushed down in West’s unique existence.

Much respect to West’s sharing of his struggle, especially after watching his wet eyes and hearing his honest words in an advance video of his interview on HBO’s “Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel” debuting Tuesday night.

Adam Morrison (left, vying for a 2009 rebound with DJ Mbenga and Kevin Love) wore his hair short most of his Lakers career. He has grown it out again now that he’s playing in Serbia during the NBA lockout.MARK J. TERRILL, ASSOCIATED PRESS ADVERTISEMENT

“I know the difference between a spanking and a beating, I know that,” West tells Gumbel. “It was brutal.”

West’s recollections of the belt and buckle raining down on him and his tearful wonders now at age 73 about whether Howard West might possibly have been impressed that son Jerry turned out differently than once thought are powerful stuff.

For as much as the Logo has always had to say – the very first time I ever talked to West, he went right off the record … and let fly! – it’s really something for him to have kept this all buried inside for so long. West’s belief is actually that his achievements in basketball only occurred because he was driven by what happened to him as a child.

And that leads to another point about getting this information about West’s adolescence …

We had to go all the way back the 1940s to get a new NBA update.

Seriously, West’s revelations are the most real NBA “news” we’ve had in a long time with the NBA on lockout lockdown. it has been BRI this, revenue-sharing that, Kobe flirting with Italians and LeBron trying to make nice with Ohioans.

Instead of gearing up for their collision course en route to the 2012 NBA Finals – and we saw how fun it was in 2010 with the Lakers and Celtics to have the two best teams both deeply motivated to take it – the Lakers and Heat don’t exist at all yet.

This is how ridiculous this alternate NBA universe is: Lakers broadcaster Mychal Thompson technically can’t comment about the start of son Klay’s career being delayed by the lockout. Mychal is a Lakers employee – and Lakers employees are not allowed by the league to talk about the lockout or current NBA players!

Meanwhile, the players’ exhibitions being put on are such weak stuff. With the stigma of NBA players not really trying until the fourth quarter or the playoffs, do we really need to see more NBA players out there just for show and not really trying? Playing fake games with fake context makes for a doubly shallow pursuit.

There’s another game coming up Sunday in Oklahoma City, with the Thunder’s Kevin Durant and the Sooners’ Blake Griffin on opposing teams. John Wall, who played in the last one at a D.C. high-school gym against Philadelphia players, even acknowledged to the Washington Post about the games: “After a while, that gets boring. You want to get back to real basketball.”

The NBA’s exhibition games we’re missing right now had the same fake results, but they were at least the real teams. I’m going to write my next column using the NBA 2K12 video game to simulate the entire season that would’ve been played if the first two weeks hadn’t already been canceled – and I’m not entirely comfortable with how legitimately interested I am to see how it turns out. the thing is, there is at least real context for the fake games I will be creating with my X button.

The same goes for me actually watching a video montage of Adam Morrison scoring 30 points – including an alley-oop pass for a Morrison layup! – with Red Star Belgrade in Serbia. Morrison’s long hair is back (without the creepy bangs), and he very evidently is now in good enough shape and has learned enough to apply some of Kobe’s footwork and pet moves – at least in that league, where his lack of defense remained costly and his team still lost to Union Olimpija.

Yet Morrison was playing in a real game with a real team and playing with real emotion. That’s what is missing from all things NBA right now: any semblance of reality.

Neither side is connected with the real world or the real economy.

It’s obvious the owners didn’t have any real intent to compromise, willing all along to carry the lockout into the season.

And the players are the ones really out of touch now.

If you want to be uninformed and united, fine, but don’t act all militant about it. That’s only leading people to believe the stereotype that NBA players are all fast-twitch muscle and slow-moving brain.

With everything hinging now on what federal mediator George Cohen can do Tuesday with the game on the line, my least valuable player in the farce so far is man who is supposed to be leading all those players, union head Billy Hunter.

At least NBA commissioner David Stern is doing some undeniably smart things – even if they’re smart in more a sharp and conniving way. What is Hunter doing?

All he has proved is that he’s the one exception to Larry David’s rule from “Curb your Enthusiasm” about white people giving everything to a black man who wears glasses and looks smart.

Hunter might as well let union president Derek Fisher wear the glasses in the next meeting. He’s already letting Fish wear the pants in the family.

Stanford Progressive

I’ve been watching the Republican primary debates for the last few weeks. I love watching them. Debate season is football season for me. every week or two there’s a new game to watch, to cheer, and boo, there are new anecdotes to bore my friends with. I love it.

At the same time, watching the debates makes me dispair for the future of my country. To continue the sport analogy, it’s as if ESPN was broadcasting little legue teams competing for the World Cup. It’s horrible. Its a bloodbath of logic, fact, and moral value.

I don’t think that my disgust with the Republican primary debates is partisan. Certainly, I’m nobody’s conservative, and I find the answers from the candidates particularly obnoxious. But let us not forget the 2008 Democratic primary, when George Stephanopoulos asked Obama such probing questions as “Does Reverend Wright love America as much as you do?” [1] My problem with the debates is that they reward dishonesty, avoidance, and manipulation. I despair because talking points and cheap gotcha’s have replaced substantive thought about what kind of leadership we want for our nation’s future.

I don’t think I’m alone with the sentiment that our political system is not working for us. Polling shows high dissatisfaction about the state and direction of the USA, and its ruling elite. Even the most establishment journalists see the stagnation of our political culture. David Brooks wrote, “Covering this upcoming election is like covering a competition between two Soviet refrigerator companies, cold-war relics offering products that never change.”[2]

Part of this is dissatisfaction with the two-party system, surely. But I our debates should be a time to introduce new ideas, to escape our moribund status quo. Instead, the debates often serve to enforce orthodoxy, giving vapid clones an boost over original thinkers. If we want to improve our political culture, we should change the way we run presidential debates.

1. Deep, Single-topic debates. There are 17 Republican primary debates scheduled between may 5, 2011, and March 5, 2012. how many of these are going to cover the same rhetorical territory? how many times will a moderator ask who wants to build a border fence, or who thinks Social Security is a Ponzi scheme? [3] now, more important. how much time will they spend on follow-up questions? Here’s an exchange I think is representative and illustrative.

BAIER:  Mr. Cain — Mr. Cain, we — we know you have a four-point economic plan.  But one specific thing, what one specific thing would President Cain do first to restart the economic engine?  and, again, with the caveat:  that one thing would have to get through a divided Congress.

CAIN:  Make the tax rates permanent.  That’s one of — of the four-point plans, because the business sector is the economic engine.  You have the group that’s talking about spending.  You have the group that’s talking about cutting.  I represent growth.  and it starts with the business sector putting fuel in the engine.

In addition to that one thing that you asked me to identify, we must have a maximum tax rate for corporations and individuals of 25 percent, take the capital gains tax rate to zero, take the tax on repatriated profits to zero, make them permanent, and — and then certainty back into this economy.  and I believe we can turn it around.  and one other thing.  We don’t have an option to wait longer than 90 days.  it is imperative that we get this economy going in 90 days with the next president of the United States of America.

BAIER:  Governor Huntsman [...]

Herman Cain outlined enormous tax cuts. by my estimate, just removing the capital gains tax would cost about $1.2 trillion over the next decade. [4] To put that in perspective, the congressional super committee has been charged with reducing the deficit by at least $1.5 trillion over the next decade, with some calls for a $4 trillion reduction. Herman Cain never had to answer a follow-up question about how much his plan would reduce revenue, and what parts of the federal budget he would cut to pay for it. Instead, the moderator just moved to Huntsman.

The public would be much better served by a series of single-topic debates with deep follow-up questions. right now, the candidates can just recite a stock answer and move on, without being held accountable for the likely consequences of their ideas. Single-topic debates could force candidates to advocate coherent policy visions, rather than sound bites.

2. Lower barriers to entry. At the end of the primary process, the Republican nominee will probably be someone very mainstream, someone who agrees with the party’s base on most issues. Most early predictions point to Mitt Romney. Romney is not known for his deep convictions or stirring speeches, but he’s able to speak competently to the majority of Republicans without ruffling anyone’s feathers. Most of the candidates that have been in the debates are trying to emulate his positioning. Who’s not running on low taxes, repeal of the Affordable Care Act, and reduction in federal regulations? since everyone has the same basic position, the debates have been less about contrasting ideas of government, and more about purity tests. Can Mitt Romney be trusted to repeal the Affordable Care Act, since he passed something similar in Massachusetts? Can Rick Perry be trusted with executive power, since he issued an executive order on vaccinations while he was in Texas? Was Ron Paul or Rick Perry a bigger fan of Ronald Reagan?

To have a real debate on the issues you need an opposition, and that opposition exists. There are heterodox candidates who want to debate. the only heterodox candidate who’s been allowed stage is Ron Paul. I’m glad Paul is there, but I want to see debates with Gary Johnson, who’s running on legalizing marijuana and ending the wars. I want to see debates with Fred Karger, the first openly gay presidential candidate. I want to see debates with Buddy Romer, who’s running to get money out of politics.

The debate organizers exercise ridged control over who gets to participate in the debates. the inter-party debates are controlled by the Commission on Presidential Debates, which is headed by Democratic and Republican Party officials. this group has made it nearly impossible for third parties to be part of the debates by limiting participation to candidates polling at 15%. the intra-party debates are controlled by news organizations who are more than willing to strictly enforce entrance requirements. The public would be better served by more independent debate organizers and lower barriers for debate participation.

3. more power to moderators. The moderator of a debate is a proxy for the public. They ask questions on behalf of citizens, the same citizens to whom politicians are accountable in a democratic system. Disrespect to moderators is to the idea of public accountability.

In today’s debates, there’s no penalty for disrespecting the moderator. Candidates regularly refuse to answer questions they don’t like, so much that it’s described as a laudable skill. Stunningly, Newt Gingrich blatantly attacked the media for trying to “get the Republicans to fight each other, to protect Barack Obama.” (Apparently Newt was never informed that he was in a debate.)

Disrespect toward moderators undermines candidate accountability, and it undermines the premise of a structured debate. it is unacceptable. the moderators should have some power to censure debaters who refused to comply with time limits or to answer questions. If need be, I want them to cut microphones.

4. Fact checkers. With more power for moderators should come more responsibility. in particular, moderators (and their teams) should be responsible bringing to light any outright lies told by the candidates. already, PolitiFact fact-checks debates, and does so within hours. They rated as lies, among other things, Rick Perry’s criticism of the stimulus, and Michelle Bachmann’s claim that Obama stole money from Medicare to pay for the Affordable Care Act. I’m glad that they’re fact checking. But what good does it do if a million people watch a debate and 10 thousand see fact checking the next day? What good does it do if the candidates are never accused of lying on television, and never have to answer these charges?

Moderators should have background teams fact checking candidate statements during the debate, and they should revisit inaccurate claims. If there’s no price to pay for lying to the public, why shouldn’t the candidates keep lying?

I saw a friend I’ve known since high school this week. We participated in Lincoln-Douglas debate together, and it had a profound effect on our lives. He grew up in a very religious household.  Debate forced him to question, and ultimately tear down, the ideology he had grown up with. I grew up in a household with neither religious nor political ideology, and debate helped me build an understanding of the world I want as well as the world we have. I know from personal experience that debate can change people for the better. maybe if we cared more about our political debates, they could change our nation for the better. I have hope.

[1] He also asked Obama why he didn’t wear an American flag lapel pin, and asked Clinton about Sniper fire in Bosnia. it all seems like trivia today.

[2] Although as Dan Carlin commented, it’s telling that the solutions Brooks offers are no departure from center-right orthodoxy. To clean up corruption, Brooks suggests, “It’s time to drain the swamp by simplifying the tax code and streamlining the regulations businesses use to squash their smaller competitors.”

[3] It’s not.

[4] I based this on the sum of capital gains revenues predicted by the CBO from 2011-2020. Not rigorous, but in the right ballpark.

Hacienda Tres Ríos Resort Celebrated the First Mayan/Tibetan Cultural Encounter

Riviera Maya, Q.Roo (PRWEB) September 21, 2011

Hacienda Tres Ríos Resort, Spa & Nature Park, located in the Riviera Maya celebrated the First Mayan/Tibetan Cultural Encounter with great success. The knowledge, philosophy and art of these two ancient cultures was analyzed and studied in the face of 2012. both groups share deep values related to life, harmony and spiritual peace.

With national and international press in attendance, the local media, tourists and distinguished members of society witnessed this coming together of these ancient cultures on September 8-11, 2011. this cultural fusion was held in honor of the World Tourism Organization’s (UNWTO) World Tourism Day. this year’s theme is Tourism Linking Cultures.

The eco tourism complex is owned by Sunset World Resorts & Vacation Experiences and is recognized as an example of sustainability and preservation of the natural environment and Mayan culture, so it was the ideal setting to promote the preservation and diffusion of these two cultures and analyze their pasts, evaluate their present and study their vision for the future of humanity.

Rimpoche Gala, representative of the group The Mystical Arts of Tibet, made up of the Tibetan Monks of the Drepung Loseling Monastery and Richard Gere Productions thanked Hacienda Tres Ríos for hosting this encounter which helped to preserve and promote his culture which has been put in jeopardy by the political situation of the country.

The monk acknowledged the similarities between the Tibetan and Mayan cultures. both are interested in the common good and obtaining inner peace. as far as the possibility of the world ending in the year 2012, which some feel the Mayan calendar indicates, Rimponche Gala emphasized that we should worry more about our own existence as free beings and living each day in harmony and to the fullest because nobody knows when their time on earth will end.

For three days the Tibetan monks constructed the Green Tara Mandala in the lobby with the purpose of bringing healing energy and peace to the world, resolving conflicts, and promoting success in work and prosperity. The Mandala, made from colored sand, was then destroyed in the closing ceremony symbolizing the impermanence of all things.

During the event, a documentary about Tibetan culture was shown and many ceremonies were held, such as the Lama Chopa Puja, which consists of prayers and offerings. in addition, the Praises to the 21 Taras was held to eliminate obstacles, negativity and sickness, as well as to attract good fortune and long life. Pujas or blessing ceremonies were held to transform any negative energy into positive. The Mayan culture was represented by Mayan Art Productions and its director Mary Cobá Cupul, who lead different ceremonies like the ceremony to welcome the monks, a cenote rebirth ceremony, during which participants are submerged in the cenote and reemerge with a higher consciousness, and the fire ceremony to bring peace and take us back to the maternal womb. in addition healings and cleansings were performed and participants experienced the Mayan sweat bath, Temazcal.

Other activities included conferences presented by experts in Prehispanic culture and world religions. The archeologist Tomás Pérez Suárez highlighted the richness of Mayan culture and emphasized the importance of learning more about its legacy. He pointed out the need to clear up the end of the world prophecy that is attributed to the Mayans but that so far has not been confirmed, but only contemplated by a few investigators.

Writer Juan Galván Paulín recognized the attention the Mayan culture has received and acknowledged the spiritual necessity of Tibetans. He seemed to agree with Rimpoche Gala about the importance of working towards the common good and looking for solutions together.

Conferences during First Mayan/Tibeten Cultural Encounter included: The Mayan Linguistic Family: History and Diversity, Tibet: Myth and Religion, Plastic Expressions: a Dynamic and Natural Art; The Mandala, Calendar and Writings: History and Registering Time, and Similarities and Differences in Buddist and Prehispanic Mayan thought.

SEO Copywriting Services

We provide SEO copywriting services to some of the biggest names in the property industry, many of whom also make use of our press release and article writing services. SEO copywriting is writing the SEO content (covered below) for web-pages, and some people also class it as writing articles as part of SEO efforts.

In a recent article on the company blog we detailed how SEO copywriting services are crucial to any good organic SEO campaign. this is because hiring the services of a good web copywriter to write optimised meta descriptions and content for the pages of your site will give you a far better chance of gaining good positions in the search engines.

Article Writing Services Writing articles is a vital part of SEO; for two reasons:

  1. Adding regular fresh original content to your own site is a vital part of SEO, because it shows the search engines that your site is growing and current. Sites that stop adding new content are quickly sent to the back of the queue
  2. Writing articles for external sites and blogs as a guest is an excellent way to build links, a: because the links are on keyword anchors, and b: because they are natural links which are given more weight by the search engines

We write high quality articles, that promote your site as a source of quality information, and gain yet more natural back-links. Use the links above to get in contact with us today.SEO Content: what is it?As far as we are concerned, SEO content is the written content on a page that, along with other factors helps the page to gain good positions in the search engine results. SEO content, to some people is about keyword density and the strategic placement of keywords. here is how we write SEO content:

A webpage to us is a page of information on the subjects relating to the keywords we want ranked for. We write the page naturally, without concentrating on keywords. Then, when we look back find we have used the keywords naturally in the content. and natural use of keywords is the best kind. We then write the title tag to include all our keywords, and metas aimed at the user and the search engine: the description and keywords metas have all our keywords once.

The search engines want the most relevant results to be in the best positions, and we believe in making our pages the most relevant, by writing good content, and then building quality back-links on keyword anchors through writing guest articles for external sites with our links in the bio.

SEO Content: Why is it Important? For a new website, text content written with SEO in mind is essential, as it is the only way the search engines will know what your site is about until you have the time to build sufficient back-links.

Hiring a web copywriter is the best way to ensure that your site is populated with quality SEO content, that both gains good search positions and also gives your visitors an enjoyable experience, while hopefully compelling them to buy.
