Southland is a story that is based on the LAPD and all various authentic incidents that take place in the city of Los Angeles. The season2 of Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles is already over and has been quite interesting for the viewers. Before the season there was this doubt in the mind of the viewers that would never be able to see conclusion of the show because there were too many characters coming before the season finale it seemed highly unlikely that there would justify the newer inclusions in the end.

As the show approached its finale, episodes were busy full of plot developments, revelations, actions and twists that all came crashing together into a game changing final scene. And what was keeping all the characters in the show? I simply don’t understand. There wasn’t even a single character death unless of course you count Cameron which would be inaccurate. I mean what were they thinking? And what would you call Derek’s inclusion into the show, although I still enjoyed the sexy and romantic scenes between john and Cameron which wasn’t exactly a hardcore romance but a creepy kind of indulgence.

Even then the final sequence of “Born To Run” is quite bemusing for me. I mean, why didn’t Sarah stay with John? She says,” I will stop it John”-but somehow she is not doing anything. Derek’s comeback is not unusual.”Time Travel” is quite the theme of the series. So it is understandable. Kyle also made a similar comeback 4 years after being declared dead on the show. I hope they wouldn’t have included Brain Austin Green’s name in the opening credits because this way you can very easily predict the events in the upcoming episodes.

The grand finale was simply outstanding breaking the beliefs of overloaded characterizations and bringing together a lot of elements in the show which were long overdue just managing to breathe life in the end. Overall a complex and an engaging show with big time drama and actions, although TV ratings don’t quite support that.

May be, having a established franchise is more important than spending a fortune on developing a newer one which may or may not work. Especially on weekends. Then apparently a hunter killer flying drone sent by Al (John’s supposed brother) launches an attack on Catherine making her reveal her identity to Sarah, John and Ellison. Ellison is seemingly unperturbed by the development.

One interesting moment of the episode is when Mr. Ellison delivers the massage of “will you join us” to Cameron. She gives a very emotional response which is even appreciated by John.
